Medical Receptionist
We are currently offering a career opportunity for medical receptionist that is passionate about patient care. Our team members are given opportunity to interact with patients during the scheduling and screening process which help them grow on a personal level in the medical field. We are seeking individuals who wish to be actively involved in the success of the patients, the growth of our practice, and their own development.
Qualifications:
- Communications skills - able to educate patients about what our practice offers and convert them into evaluation appointments. Being pleasant, inviting, and helpful are key to this role.
- Insurance - able to understand different insurance plans, policies, and working to assist patient with proper benefits in our office
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Typing and computer skills to properly handle HIPPA information
- Empowering and energetic work ethic that promotes positivity within the office
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish also necessary
Responsibilities:
- Receive inbound phone calls and address what the patient needs including: educating about our clinic and what we can treat, what to expect with our process, what insurances we accept, what paperwork is needed.
- Check in patients and collect copay, fill out paperwork, scan document for the appointment
- Receive faxes and allocate to correct chart or forward to team members
- Prepare schedule and perform appointment reminders
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
