OBJECTIVE:
Drive profitable growth by securing the right business for Wasco—balancing smart deals, strong relationships, and a deep understanding of customer needs. Focus on long-term partnerships that align with our capabilities, ensuring we deliver high-quality products on time while reinforcing Wasco’s reputation for reliability and innovation.
JOB DUTIES:
- Prepare and support all sales activities.
- Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base.
- Visit existing and prospective customers to push products and grow relationships.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
- Ensure follow-up by passing leads to sales team with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information sources and so on.
- Assist in creating RFQ responses to potential clients.
- Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
- Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and email to cross-sell and up-sell.
- Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls/emails and convert them into sales.
- Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, and prepare internal reports.
- Coordinate customer training as necessary; investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues.
- Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate CRM.
- Develop knowledge of products/services and customer offers to maximize sales opportunities.
- Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Understand and demonstrate Wasco Core Values.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
3 years in a full-time sales position required.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Bonus: Experience in the semiconductor industry or a background in technical sales.
