Counting Technician

The Counting Technician operates money-counting machine, records totals, bags coins, performs maintenance, and keeps records by performing the duties listed below.

Estimated Salary : $18.00 to $26.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience.

Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities.

Responsibilities :

• Processes coins through coin-counting machine.
• Computes and records totals of tallied figures.
• Records discrepancies for accounting control purposes.
• Records vault inventory.
• Moves and handles processed bulk coin for armored car shipment.
• Loads armored truck with bulk coins for transport to bank.
• Performs minor maintenance on counting machines; lubricates and cleans machines.
• Other duties as may become necessary or assigned.
