Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled fertilizer technician and Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation systems and Lawn care knowledge and experienced in applying pesticides , with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of irrigation systems, contributing to the health and beauty of our landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Apply fertilization applications to all our properties using ride on spreader/sprayer
- Must have valid Ma pesticide license and Drivers License
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and implement necessary repairs.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with landscape teams to ensure proper watering schedules align with plant needs.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering solutions related to irrigation and landscape care.
- Drive to various job sites, transporting necessary equipment and materials as required.
- Assist in pest control measures as needed to protect landscape investments.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including system installations, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to irrigation installation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus for handling larger scale irrigation projects.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape management techniques.
- Basic sales skills are beneficial for promoting services to clients during interactions.
- Ability to drive safely to various job locations while adhering to all traffic regulations.
