Washington Air Compressor Rental Co. is located in Rockville, MD within 500 feet of the entrance to the Twinbrook Metro stop. Washington Air Compressor Rental Co. has an immediate full time position opening in Accounting for individuals who have 10-15 years accounting experience.
WACR is seeking an Accounts Payable / Payroll Manager whose duties include but are not limited to :
A / P - accounts payable
Processing Refunds
Payroll and HR Admin
Manage daily office operations-Phone, Mail and Equipment.
Assisting in answering WACR main phone line
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have 10-15 years of a broad range of accounting and financial reporting experience. Working knowledge of ADP Payroll is PREFERRED, and proficiency in Excel and Word is REQUIRED. Experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Accounting, and will offer reliable, consistent, timely and accurate reporting and assisting the Comptroller of Finance in the reporting of the Company’s financial statements in accordance with Generally Acceptable Accounting Procedures (GAAP).The successful candidate will have demonstrable attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of MS Office Suite and Accounting Software (ADP Payroll Preferred); strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, customer service and organization skills; and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

The successful applicant must have a desire to succeed, strong relationship building techniques and closing skills. Must be able to sell value, yourself and have consulting skills to overcome price objections. Be highly trainable and have a minimum of 10 years of experience. Computer skills are essential. Knowledge of construction equipment, durable goods, heavy machinery, building products or any other mechanical products is helpful but not required.
Hours of Operations :
Monday- Friday between the hours of 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00PM
