Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant to provide dedicated administrative and personal support to our CEO at Washington & Co Inc. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires discretion, professionalism, and a high level of confidentiality. While this is a remote position, the candidate must be able to drive to the Upper Marlboro area in Maryland when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Support: Manage the executive's calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings to ensure seamless time management and prioritization of tasks.
- Communication Management: Handle correspondence, including emails and phone calls, drafting responses, and liaising with clients and staff on behalf of leadership.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange travel itineraries, accommodations, and transportation for business and personal needs.
- Event Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating company events, team gatherings, and leadership engagements.
- Document Preparation: Create reports, presentations, and documents related to tax and accounting services, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Task Management: Organize and track daily tasks and special projects, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are addressed.
- Personal Assistance: Provide support with personal errands, household organization, and other day-to-day responsibilities.
- Research and Procurement: Conduct research, source vendors or products, and manage purchases for both professional and personal needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role, ideally in a professional services environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and scheduling software.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
