What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Security and Logistics Supervisor position at Washington Commanders?
The Washington Commanders is seeking a Part Time/Seasonal Event Security and Logistics Supervisor. This role requires individuals who will provide excellent customer service and security throughout Northwest Stadium during Commanders Game Day and Special Events. This role will lead a team of Event Security and Logistics team members who will perform security equipment setup/breakdown and assist with inventory.

- Responsible for helping oversee the set up and breakdown of all security equipment
- Assist with overseeing pre-game field setup and breakdown
- Lead ESL walkthrough and make sure all equipment is set
- Oversee Security equipment and inventory
- Report feedback directly to Director of Security & Transportation as well as the Coordinator of Event Security & Transportation
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Lead role with setting up security signage
- Oversee the pickup of surrendered items from event security at fan entry gates
Requirements:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required
- Valid state driver's license required
- Must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Willingness to learn is required
- Possess a professional attitude that is customer service oriented
- Effective writing, telephone, and verbal communication skills
- Maintain a clean and neat appearance during work hours
- Good judgment and detail-oriented
- Able to work in heat/cold and to be on feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. This position is designated as an "essential employee" and may be required to stay beyond regular work hours and/or report in from off-duty to assist with minimum staffing coverage
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
- Previous experience with a sports team
- Hourly Rate: $15 - $17
