Workday & Hours: 1 Position schedules
Position :Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm
Benefits Eligibility: Eligible (After 60 days of employment, Health - Dental - Vision - Life Insurance - EAP Program - Retirement APERS (Arkansas Public Employees Retirement System)
Vacation Eligibility after 6 months of employment (84 hours up to 3 years)
Sick hours available after 90 days of employment (112 hours up to 3 years)
Twelve Holidays a year Employee Birthday (Thirteen total)
Job Summary:
The Buildings Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out repairs, maintenance, and custodial tasks for county buildings and grounds. Primary focus will be grounds keeping, including flower beds, mowing, weed eating, brush hogging, and various other landscaping duties. The incumbent must prioritize when and how to complete repairs with supervisors and must be self-motivated. The person in this position may provide recommendations to the Buildings & Grounds Director as to the best method of maintaining and repairing elements to the County’s buildings.

Required Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a criminal background check, obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances where required, this position is subject to pre-employment and reasonable suspicion testing and if a promotional position, candidate must pass an assignment drug test.
