CLIENT SUPPORT ASSISTANT
Job Title: Client Support Assistant
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Client Coordinator
Work Hours: 8:30-4:00 or as defined by agency needs
Job Summary:
This is a full-time support role designed to assist the Client Coordinator in daily operations. The Client Support Assistant is responsible for facilitating the smooth running of front desk operations, aiding in document processing, supporting client service activities, answering phones and managing routine administrative tasks.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Assisting the Client Coordinator in providing client services
- Supporting in-person and telephone interactions with clients
- Helping with the collection and processing of application documents
- Assisting in answering and directing telephone calls
- Managing the sorting and distribution of mail
- Assisting in the processing of financial transactions like cash and checks
- Helping maintain a clean and organized lobby area
- Performing supportive clerical duties such as data entry and file management
- Carrying out additional duties as directed by the Client Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Ability to support public-facing roles with positivity
- Understanding of office etiquette
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in de-escalation techniques is a plus
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required; further education in Business, Human Services, or related field is a plus
- 2 years of experience in administrative support or customer service roles
Compensation:
- Hourly position, commensurate with experience
