What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Visitor/Parent Educator position at Washington County Family & Children First?
Family & Children First's Help Me Grow Home Visiting Program seeks a full-time Home Visitor/Parent Educator to provide services to prenatal moms and families with children up to age 5 in Washington County. Services include home visits; Parents As Teachers curriculum; screenings; Family Plan development; resource and referral, and data entry. Minimum associate degree in a field closely related to early childhood or human services, and 2 years previous supervised work experience with young children and/or parents. Must possess knowledge of Washington County resources and services, excellent communication, time-management, organization, documentation, computer and interpersonal skills as well as ability to work independently. Travel throughout Washington County requires own transportation and valid drivers license and insurance, with mileage reimbursed. Background check required. Excellent benefit package. EOE.
