Job Details
This position is expected to assess patients nursing care needs, evaluate effectiveness of care provided, and integrate nursing theory into clinical practice.
The position requires State Licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) who will collaborate and integrate information from patient and family working with the multi-disciplinary team members.
Duties include maintaining adequate records, making rounds, acting as patient advocate, developing patient care plans, and implementing emergency care procedures.
Job Requirements
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Current license as a registered nurse issued by the State of Iowa or eligibility for reciprocity or work permit
BLS certification
ACLS certified or willingness to complete within 1 year
PALS preferred
Schedule Information
Flexibility in schedule; willing to work additional hours, take low census days or alternate shifts as needed.
Regular attendance in coordination with the WCHC attendance policy.
Unit Specific Information
Demonstrates teamwork by working cooperatively with others on a team.
Demonstrates critical and analytical thinking skills by a logical, systematic, sequential approach.
