What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Administrative Specialist - Jail Division position at Washington County, Oregon?
The Washington County Sheriff's Office – Jail Division is looking for a Senior Administrative Specialist to join our Administration Team! This position provides high-level administrative support to the Jail Command leadership team and members within the Jail Division. The work will span a wide variety of responsibilities, including developing and maintaining communications such as meeting agendas and minutes, drafting documents, supporting calendar management and meeting scheduling, preparing reports, forms, and presentations, and providing overall administrative support.
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding organizational and time management skills. They will possess an intermediate or advanced proficiency level in Microsoft Suite applications. They will have the capabilities to multitask to manage multiple priorities from different leaders. Additionally, the ideal candidate for this position will have significant experience in calendar management and administrative tasks, a strong customer service orientation, proficient written and verbal communication skills, and a self-starter mindset and passion for being a public servant.

- A high school diploma or equivalent AND
- Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience providing administrative or clerical support.
