Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper/Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure indoor and outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. This role involves a variety of tasks to maintain cleanliness inside and outside the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas by removing debris and litter.
- Collect and remove trash from inside of the hospital.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Clean surfaces.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various groundskeeping duties.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all groundskeeping/porter tasks are completed efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with various power tools and hand tools used in gardening and landscaping.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
