Overview:
Washington County Regional Medical Center has provided patient-centered care to the community for 61 years. Our hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated employees who will continue providing high quality care to our patients. WCRMC is a licensed general acute care facility with 56 hospital beds and a 60-bed extended care facility.
Washington County Regional Medical Center's Med/Surg Unit is in need of a CNA/Ward Clerk with excellent verbal and written communication skills who will provide high-quality care to our patients! The CNA/Ward Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the ward by providing administrative support and maintaining accurate records.
Duties:
- Must have a great attitude and a passion for giving care to our residents
- Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and families
- Manage clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, maintaining patient records and charts and answering phones
- Coordinates communications at the Nurse’s Station for the Medical Surgical Department which includes transcription of orders and inputting requests into the computer system
Skills:
- Experience in a medical office setting is required
- CNA Certification is a plus
- Must have CPR certification
- Ability to be a team player
- Excellent computer skills
Schedule:
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- medical office: 1 year (Preferred)
