What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nontraditional Reading Specialist position at Washington County School District?
QUALIFICATIONS :
Provide specialized instruction in reading that will enable students in grades K-12 to master literacy skills appropriate to age, grade level, and individual capacity; develop and monitor student progress on student literacy plans; provide small-group and one-to-one reading instruction to identified students in a nontraditional setting (Bridge, Interchange, Elementary and / or Middle School); follow all guidelines outlined in the Virginia Literacy Act. Reading Specialist degree or successful completion of the VDOE Reading Specialist Micro credential required.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT :
Effective Date : 2024-2025 School Year
Salary : Commensurate with qualifications and experience
