Responsibilities
- Review police reports and determine charges.
- Prosecute misdemeanor and felony cases in court.

- Provide legal counsel to county departments and officials.
- Handle litigation involving the county (e.g., lawsuits, employment disputes).
- Draft and review contracts, ordinances, and policies.

- Attend county commission meetings as needed.
- Work with law enforcement on investigations.
