Washington County Sewer District II is currently accepting
applications for Laborer. This position performs routine manual
work requiring physical endurance and a willingness to perform
arduous tasks. Applicants must exhibit a willingness to perform
routine manual tasks; ability to lift heavy weights; ability to follow simple oral or written instructions; willingness to work under all weather conditions; physical endurance; sobriety; and
good physical condition. Does related work as required.
ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE & TRAINING: None required but some experience in heavy manual labor is desirable.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Must possess a valid NYS Drivers’ License.
RATE OF PAY: $20.12/hour (2025 rate) plus excellent benefits including NYS Retirement; paid holidays, vacation, personal & sick time; shared cost Health/Dental/Vision insurance; additional voluntary benefits.
