Property Maintenance Specialist

$19.47 PER HOUR DOE /PART TIME /NO BENEFITS
SCHEDULE IS FLEXIBLE WITHIN REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Provides maintenance of grounds and facilities of all District owned property. Serves as backup to Landfill Technician.
Maintain landscaping for all district managed property. This includes but is not limited to weeding, raking, trimming, and maintaining plants and trees, sweeping sidewalks, picking up litter, and other items to maintain the appearance of the District property. Perform interval-based building maintenance schedule including janitorial services and replacement of HVAC filters and other regular building maintenance tasks. Maintain the scales, including coordinating for service and repair, and removing waste and pressure washing below entire scales and under load cells at regular intervals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One-year work experience in landscaping or field closely related to these duties.
- Possession of valid Utah driver's license.
- Forklift operator certification in current status or ability to complete certificate within one month of hire.
- Must be bondable.
