Duties

- Educate students in core subjects such as Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Provide individualized support and tutoring to students who require additional assistance.
- Mentor students in their academic and personal growth, promoting a love for learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with special education staff to accommodate the needs of students with disabilities.
- Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and observations to guide instruction.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports childhood development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and educational best practices.
- Experience in classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Skills in writing lesson plans and educational materials tailored to diverse learners.
- Experience or training in special education is a plus.
- A commitment to mentoring young learners and fostering their academic success.
- Proficiency in tutoring various subjects, particularly Math.
