Responsibilities:
- Assists waiters in serving guests’ needs.
- Assists with opening and closing duties.
- Maintains cleanliness of workstation.
- Stocks and restocks server service stations.
- Takes direction from servers and/or host/hostess when necessary.
- Clears extra place settings from tables when guests are seated, clears all soiled items from tables during and after guest service. Resets tables upon guest departure.
- Refers communication, guest feedback, and any potential guest dissatisfaction to the Manager.
Qualifications
- Entry level position. Previous wait assistant, waitress, busser or related experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Developed English language skills (both written and orally) to communicate with other employees and guests.
- Walking or standing to a significant degree.
