Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Associate to join our team in Lynnwood, WA. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude and a keen attention to detail, ensuring our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is integral in supporting our installation crews and technicians by maintaining an orderly warehouse environment and ensuring timely preparation of materials.
Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, sort, and stock materials and products accurately. Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with monthly inventory audits.
- Order Processing: Place daily orders with vendors to maintain optimal stock levels. Review packing slips and track shipments to ensure order accuracy.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Manage recyclables and waste disposal in compliance with company policies.
- Team Collaboration: Assist team members with tasks to ensure the warehouse is prepared for upcoming operations. Communicate effectively with installation crews and technicians regarding equipment and product staging.
- Data Entry and Communication: Perform accurate data entry, respond to emails promptly, and handle basic documentation related to warehouse operations.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate power tools, warehouse equipment, and motor vehicles as required.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and contribute to the company's mission of making homes great.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate or similar role is preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid WA driver's license with a clean driving record. Forklift certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating power and hand tools safely and efficientl
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and data entry.
- Ability to stand, walk, crawl, crouch, stoop, kneel, lift, and sit for extended periods.
- Capability to lift 50–100 pounds multiple times daily.
