What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Supervisor position at Washington Golf and Country Club?
As Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily oversight of operations in one of our 3 a la carte outlets. The successful candidate will be able to communicate, plan, train, and execute the menu as well as be creative in offering seasonal features as assigned by the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef. The Sous Chef is integral in creating consistency in the culinary offerings of the club.
As the Kitchen Supervisor you will…
Have 3 years of high-volume culinary management experience
Demonstrate a working understanding of business operations and financials
Manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling and planning
Create memorable dining experiences by exceeding guest expectations
Demonstrate ingredient knowledge and understanding of culinary trends
Ensure adherence to recipes, safety practices and sanitation standards in the kitchen
Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume, scratch kitchen
Manage on-the-fly requests with ease and poise
Understand POS systems and inventory control systems
Coach, lead and develop culinary team
Drive continuous improvement

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
