Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Child Care Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote educational growth and social skills.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and express themselves.
- Manage behavior effectively using appropriate strategies to ensure a respectful and supportive atmosphere.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood education.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
- Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children's interactions.
- Experience in special education or working with diverse learning needs is a plus.
- Ability to educate children through engaging activities that promote learning in various domains (cognitive, social, emotional).
- Previous experience as a nanny or in similar childcare roles will be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude with the ability to create a supportive classroom environment.
