What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Coordinator RN position at Washington Hospital?
Salary Range: $70.95 - $95.79
The Quality Coordinator RN works in collaboration with the Manager to facilitate improvement, data management, statistical analyses and outcome measurement for Medical Staff and hospital departments. The coordinator uses a combination of clinical and technical skills to coordinate improvement activities for assigned areas.
In addition to performing the essential functions listed below, may also be assigned other duties as required.
Education Requirements: Bachelors degree from an accredited school of nursing, or equivalent. Master's degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements: Current California's RN license or healthcare equivalent required. Certification in Professional Healthcare Quality preferred.
Work Experience Requirement: 5 years clinical experience in an acute care setting. 1 year experience in quality improvement or related field preferred.
Special Skills/Abilities: Computer literate, proficiency in Microsoft office, or equivalent. Must have data management and statistical analyses experience. Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively with persons of varying educational and cultural backgrounds.
