What are the responsibilities and job description for the WISummer Lead Language Teacher position at Washington International School?
The primary objective of the Lead Language Teacher is to deliver an immersive language learning experience for campers enrolled in the WISummer program. The curriculum is structured on a 5-day scope and sequence, aimed at fostering language acquisition and progression throughout the summer camp program. The Lead Language Teacher will design, prepare, and teach an engaging curriculum that is experiential in nature and suitable for both beginner and intermediate/advanced learners. Educators must be able to commit to at least one-weeks (5-days) worth of continuous instruction, with priority given to those educators who can commit to more than one session of camp. All staff must be available for staff training.
