Head Start Assistant Teacher
Assists teacher in creating a safe and healthy environment for children and parents thereby enhancing development, providing encouragement, and facilitating the compliance with all Head Start Performance Standards.
Education and/or experience: High school diploma and must have a minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or state awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirement of a CDA credential, are enrolled in a program that will lead to an associate's or baccalaureate degree or, are enrolled in a CDA credential program to be completed within two years of hire date.
Starting Pay: HS Diploma $ 12.01 per hour, CDA $13.51, 2 yr. $15.48, 4 yr. $17.50

Additional Requirements: Must pass an FBI/BCI check and additional background check, drivers license, and vehicle insurance.
