What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Home Meal Deliver Drivers position at Washington-Morgan Counties Community Action?
Home Meal Delivery Driver - Morgan County, Ohio- Individual will deliver meals over established route to qualified program participants. Make certain that the number of meals is counted out for delivery. Assists in preparation, proper packaging, monitoring of the daily home meal delivery route. Complete the home meal delivery route on a daily basis in the assigned georgrahic area.
Reports any changes in the physical, emotional or psychological condition of a home meal delivery client. Inform supervisory staff of any concerns about the health or change in behavior of home delivered meal client.
Use a variety of technology and paper forms to correctly record the number of meals delivered daily.
Monitors the meal temperature on the route to ensure the appropriate temperatures are maintained. Assists with cleaning and storing of home meal delivery equipment upon completion of the daily home meal delivery route.
Must be willing to travel in all kinds of weather.
Education and/or Experience: Must have a high school diploma.
Starting Wage: $12.47 per hour. Part-time position.
Benefits: Accrued sick leave and vacation, holiday pay and 401-K retirement plan.
Mileage reimbursement at IRS current rate. As of the date of this posting it is $.70 per mile.
Additional requirements:Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and vehicle insurance. Must be able to pass multiple background checks.
