What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Head Start Teacher position at Washington-Morgan Counties Community Action?
Head Start Center Teacher - The individual will provide a social/emotional climate conducive to enhance each child's development meeting all Head Start Performance Standards and Ohio Child Care Licensing Regulations. Includes parents in planning and classroom participation. Keeps classrooms safe, clean and free from hazardous materials. Conducts two home visits and two conferences per family, per year.
Education and/or Experience: Must have a least an associate's or bachelor's degree in child development or early childhood education, equivalent course work or otherwise meet the requirements of section 648 A (a)(3)(B) of the Head Start Act. Previous experience in childcare preferred. Bachelors degree preferred.
Starting Pay: 2 year degree $17.87 per hour. 4 year degree $19.67

Additional Requirements: Must pass a BCI-FBI, Sexual Predatory Child Abuse Registry background checks. Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle insurance.
