Position Summary
The role of the Food Service Tech reports to the Production Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining the kitchen area and all equipment utilized in this position.
Essential Position Responsibilities
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and services areas through general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surface areas
- Clean soiled dishes utilizing proper procedure and technique and store in an appropriate manner
- Sort and remove trash, place in correct area for disposal
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Licensure and Certifications: N/A
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience in a food service production area, preferred.
Work Environment: This position will spend 80% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs. This position will spend 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment.
