Position Summary
The role of the Case Management Assistant reports to the Director of Case Management. This position is responsible for performing clerical duties pertaining to the Case Management department.
Essential Position Responsibilities
- Perform with clerical duties including answering telephone, receiving messages, distributing correspondence, and maintaining department supplies
- Serve as timekeeper for the case management department in partnership with department leadership and payroll department
- Develop daily staffing matrix and distribute to appropriate staff members
- Maintain data including insurance information, spreadsheets utilized by key stakeholders, and necessary websites in partnership with department leadership
- Reconcile documents to ensure accuracy, partner with necessary stakeholders to obtain missing information, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Licensure and Certifications: N/A
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical clerical setting, preferred.
Work Environment: This position will spend 80% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment and 20% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs.
