What are the responsibilities and job description for the GRuB Community Education Coordinator position at Washington Service Corps?

This AmeriCorps national service position will serve 40 hours per week in person. Some evenings and weekends may be required. The anticipated service term is February 2025 - August 2025. The Community Education Coordinator will support GRuB's mission by serving as the primary contact for volunteers and host for farm visitors.

What you'll be doing –
- Support volunteer recruitment and onboarding process;.
- Serve as liaison and support for volunteers on site.
- Coordinate individual and group visits to the farm for service or education.
- Provide logistical support for events and special programs on site.
What you'll receive -
- Monthly stipend of $1,780. (Please note: this position is eligible for our Member Equity Enhanced stipend. Members may receive an enhanced stipend of $2,548 per month if their household's annual gross income is less than or equal to 200% of the federal poverty level based on household size.)
- Valuable experience in social services, food security, non-profit.
- An education award of up to $3,697 upon completion of the service term.
