JOB TITLE: AACP Program Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Part Time, with possibility of transition to Full Time
HOURS: 20-25 Hours
LOCATION: Off-Site
SUPERVISOR: Director of Programs and Partnerships
SUPERVISES: AACP Coaches and Teachers
POSITION SUMMARY:
Work with the Director to oversee all academic, enrichment and tennis programming is successfully
implemented. Perform lead coaching of tennis components at assigned schools; oversee all on-court
activities and safety of student participants; work with school staff coaches every week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Work with director to identify and cultivate new school partnerships as needed
● Conduct weekly site visits to schools to ensure program integrity during after-school
programming hours
● Work with teachers to maintain attendance records
● Maintain student data in Cityspan, including enrollment and attendance
● Work with teachers to collect academic testing results throughout the school year
● Work with coaches to ensure that students’ tennis skills are assessed and documented weekly
● Distribute and coordinate electronic surveys as per grant requirement
● Assist with distributing tennis equipment and other program supplies to schools and teachers as
needed
● Transport youth to East Campus and challenges as needed (driving WTEF van)
● Act as substitute for tennis coaches as needed
● Assist with developing and fostering relationships with the community, employees, and vendors
● Schedule and coordinate intramural AACP matches
● Liaison between AACP advanced players and CFE/West
● Other projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Must be at least 18 years of age.
● High Diploma or G.E.D. Bachelor degree preferred
● USTA Level 1 Training preferred.
● Previous experience working with children or caring for children preferred.
● Current First Aid & CPR Certification preferred.
● Must pass background screenings, which include FBI, Metropolitan Police Department, National
Sex Offender, and driving record.
● Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (strength and stamina) to participate in games,
sports, and physical activities including jogging, crouching, water-based games and activities.
Pay
$28 to $31 per hour
