Job Description:
- NJ Teacher of English Certification or Elementary Certification with Middle School Language Arts Literacy Endorsement required
- Understanding of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Grades 6-8 ELA
- Understanding of standardized state assessments (NJSLA)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, academic credentials, and references
- Experience in developing and implementing differentiated instructional lessons and learning activities in the English Language Arts classroom
- Experience with analyzing, interpreting, and utilizing achievement data to drive instruction and monitor student progress
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Knowledge of and experience with technology as it relates to instruction
- Middle School ELA teaching experience preferred
- Knowledge or experience with a unified reading/writing approach strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Danielson Evaluation Model
