- Master’s Degree in Learning Disabilities Certification Program
- Experience preferred both as a Teacher and Learning-Disabled Teacher/Consultant
- Experience in administration and interpretation of evaluation instruments necessary to determine eligibility for special education and related services.
- Evidence of in-depth knowledge of special education programming and curriculum
- Understanding of the IEP process reauthorized IDEA knowledge of current State Law/Regulations
- Knowledge in conducting effective CST meetings and parent/staff conferences (including the resolution of disagreements).
- Knowledge in communicating orally and in writing.
- Ability to coordinate activities from many resources for the benefit of an individual student.
