Job Summary: The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for managing investment portfolios to achieve clients' financial goals. This role involves developing and implementing investment strategies for client portfolios, maintaining/and growing client relationships, and participating on and contributing to our internal investment committees.
Location: This position is located in Providence or Westerly, and may be remote or hybrid within MA, RI and CT.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement investment strategies tailored to clients' objectives.
Demonstrates ability to manage large and complex financial relationships and maintain effective management of relationships and assets.
Conducts periodic account reviews of investments, client goals and objectives.
Coordinates all client communications involving investment strategy, portfolio decisions and investment performance.
Understands and can effectively utilize financial planning software to enhance the overall client experience.
Actively participates on and is a valuable contributor to one or more investment committees.
Manages people and resources to promote efficiency and drive profitable growth.
Supports new business development and client retention efforts.
Demonstrates a consistently positive attitude and prioritizes excellent client service.
Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, making adjustments as necessary.
Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Delivery of exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
CFA designation or comparable industry designation
Minimum of 20 years of experience in portfolio management or a related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial modeling and investment analysis tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
