Washington Trust has an opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated, and energetic professional to join our Wealth Management division as a Middle Office Analyst.
As a Middle Office Analyst, you will provide support to all groups within Wealth Management. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service, and administrative and operational support, to internal and external clients. A successful Middle Office Analyst will ensure internal team partners are compliant with operating policy, documentation procedures and regulatory requirements while ensuring transactions are processed accurately/on time, and exceptions are resolved proactively.
This position interacts with client facing team members, management, third parties and vendors to facilitate daily divisional operations, and represent the Bank in a professional and competent manner. The incumbent will have the ability to initiate and support process improvement activity and help embed a culture of continuous improvement.
This position is hybrid with an anticipated 2 days on-site in Westerly and 3 days remote per week.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Skills, Education
This position requires a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in Financial Services or Wealth Management; administrative or operational experience strongly preferred
College degree in business related field preferred
Strong keyboarding skills; intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Word and Excel skills: Excel and/or Word skills testing required
The ability to work closely with business partners and interact with all staff levels. Demonstrated good quality communication and interpersonal skills
Strong demonstrated knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Experience with Trust transactions and administration preferred
Self-thinker able to work through issues and escalate only when appropriate
Detail oriented, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy; ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
Ability to anticipate issues and aggressively drive initiatives to ensure results
Strong research/investigation skills
Positive attitude, high energy level and strong work ethic, ability to work in a dynamic environment.
