Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Possession of a valid and appropriate Multiple Subjects teaching credential with BCLAD in Spanish as issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Candidates in the process of completing their credential program are encouraged to apply and indicate within their supporting documents when they anticipate program completion. This includes candidates enrolled in their university's internship program. Candidates with out-of-state credentials will be considered. Please include the following supporting documents: * Three current letters of recommendation (signed and dated) * Cover letter * Resume * Transcripts * Credential(s) Under AB 2534, please ensure you are providing a list of all school districts, county office of education, charter school or state special school, where previously worked.
WUSD offers an in-house Induction Program that awards participating teachers $500 upon completion of each year's requirements.
