Oversee a complex portfolio of major Global Health grants and contracts, working closely with several PIs and many external partners. Provide strategic leadership regarding existing grants and emerging opportunities for field research projects. Manage communication and administrative issues for the diverse team with a broad network of collaborators. Work with others to plan, manage, and supervise research projects locally and overseas in developing countries.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a visionary strategic plan for the team, aligning with the school's mission and goals. In collaboration with the budgeting and grants office, oversee the project budgets and programs, ensuring they reflect the latest trends and advancements in global health, health equity, and health innovation. Foster and maintain strong relationships with research partners and DOLF affiliates.
Provide high-level direction and expert oversight of research initiatives by coordinating with research coordinators, principal investigators, and other stakeholders. Ensure that projects are executed efficiently, in alignment with the research team's strategic vision, goals, and timelines, and in compliance with the highest standards of research ethics.
Draft/edit or track DOLF-related publications and abstracts under the supervision of the PIs. Plan and attend meetings with study partners and representatives from funding agencies and policy leaders.
Work with PIs and staff to manage outreach and dissemination activities for study outcomes and results on the website, social media, and newsletter.
Organize annual DOLF partner meetings including funders and global partners. In addition, help to plan DOLF seminar series and conference presentations.
Supervise the administrative team consisting of a Program Manager for Operations, Admin Coordinator and Financial Analyst.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s in Public Health, science communication, or similar field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to use quantitative statistical data analysis programs (such as SPSS and Stata) to analyze data and use qualitative data analysis programs.
- Knowledge of the NIH funding procedures.
- The candidate must be familiar with rights management of copyrighted materials, and how to obtain rights and permissions as needed.
- Willingness and ability to travel for work in low-resourced settings (no more than 10% of time).
- Prior work with international-focused research and knowledge of field research in low and middle-income countries.
- Research experience, especially an understanding of human subjects’ research and ethical issues.

$75,200.00 - $128,800.00 / Annually The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
