The Development Officer reports to the Executive Director of Operations and is responsible for fundraising as a generalist on behalf of the university in support of key priorities.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Focus on acquisition, retention, and reacquisition of prospects ($1,000 - $24,999) in the assigned region with a primary focus on unrestricted giving. Qualify and cultivate donors with the goal of increasing the donor’s support to leadership and major gift levels.
- Work closely with all levels of development officers in the division to ensure short and long-term fundraising success. This role will be assigned to at least one MSA in the division with travel expectations of 50%.
- Help to create and foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork that celebrates outcomes, builds individual and team capacity, and ensures that WashU UA is a preferred workplace.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

$58,400.00 - $99,700.00 / Annually The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
