Position Summary

This is a research opportunity to join a team involved with processing samples obtained from participants in clinical asthma studies that investigate mechanisms underlying asthma exacerbations in children. Samples will be processed to evaluate specific airway immune cell responses to respiratory viruses and allergens in children with asthma. Work in the lab includes receiving, logging, processing, and shipping samples.

Working Conditions:

This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.

Salary Range:

Base pay is commensurate with experience.
