Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Application Lifecycle Activities
- Codes, monitors, maintains, tests and debugs software applications.
- Builds integrations in/out of Advancement’s CRM to share data with other systems at WashU and third-party tools.
- Follows established change management processes.
- Facilitates code reviews and enforce code standards.
- Develops and executes test plan development.
- Researches and evaluates new technology, products, specialized hardware and tools to optimize development and functionality of applications.
- Makes recommendations to management and customers.
- Assists in ensuring team members complete tasks as assigned, taking corrective action to stay on schedule.
- Analyzes and documents existing processes as they relate to information technology solutions.
- Supports complex operational activities and recoveries.
- Coordinates with software vendors and external service providers.
- Troubleshoots escalated software bugs and provide fixes.
- Provides off hours support, as needed.
- Provides, cultivates and fosters excellent customer service.
- Enforces adherence to departmental standards.
- Guides and mentors less experienced staff.
