Position Summary

Lead the design, assembly, peer review, validation, and publication of research data.

Job Description

• Serves as primary points of contact for scientists submitting research data.
• Leads peer reviews of selected data sets submitted.
• Recruits review panel, managing a website where review materials and reviewers' comments are posted, seeing that all reviewers' concerns are addressed by the data provider, and ultimately deciding whether the data set passes the review and may be included.
• Responsible for communication with researchers, provide information and advice on processes.
• Receives, validates, and publishes regular quarterly deliveries of data; checks data, metadata, and documentation to ensure compliance with standards and compliance with research requirements, frequent communication with data providers, and management of a website where data is made available.
• Reports status of research activities; assembles reports and reports data metrics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$55,200.00 - $100,000.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
