What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ticketing - Intern position at Washington Wild Things?
Key Responsibilities:
- Ticket Sales & Customer Service:
- Assist in processing ticket sales at ticketing and will call windows.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all ticket-related inquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Assist customers with purchasing tickets, providing event details, and handling special requests.
- Seasonal Staff Assistance:
- Help coordinate and support seasonal staff, ensuring they are trained and prepared for game day operations.
- Provide guidance to seasonal staff on ticketing procedures, customer service, and event setup.
- Event/Game Preparation:
- Assist with event prep, including organizing ticketing materials and supplies.
- Help set up ticketing booths and signage for events and games.
- Ensure the proper allocation and preparation of tickets for will call, group sales, and on-site sales.
- Ticketing Window Operations:
- Operate ticketing windows efficiently, handling cash and card transactions as needed.
- Verify ticketing systems and inventory, ensuring accurate ticket distribution.
- Prepare reports and assist with data entry related to ticket sales and customer interactions.
