Compensation : $25 / Hour

Position Overview : Yu Ying is looking for a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to inspire and guide our students. Specials Teachers at Washington Yu Ying are part of a collaborative and supportive faculty with a common goal of continuously improving a great school. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in creating and enriching an inquiry-based classroom environment that nurtures curiosity and academic excellence. Essential Responsibilities :

• Implement Elementary (Grades PreK-5) Music Arts curriculum in collaboration with other subject areas being taught.
• Ability to plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies
• Work in a trusted and positive manner within a team environment
• Establish a positive classroom culture
• Emphasize and support oral language development across all content areas
• Communicate effectively to families and work collaboratively with them as partners
• Work positively and collaboratively as a member of a grade team
