What You’ll Do
The Boron Carbide Production Technician will be responsible for the processing of Boron Carbide. This processing includes accurate transmittal and recording of data pertaining to the material being manufactured. This position will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor of Boron Carbide.
Follows detailed instructions and/or test methods pertaining to specific work assignments
Operate and understand the Boron Carbide process
Confidentially perform specific work assignments under minimal supervision
Handles classified information and is responsible for safeguarding this classified information
Ensures compliance with all applicable corporate and governmental guidelines, rules, and regulations pertaining to health, safety, and environmental issue
What You’ll Need
To be successful in this position, you must:
Must possess an associate degree in a technical field
Have 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Be able to pass a thorough background check and drug test in order to receive a Government Security Clearance
Be willing to work both individually and collaboratively within a team environment
Have the skills to operate heat treat equipment involving controlling pressures, temperatures, gas flows, and other related lab equipment
Be well organized, detail oriented, and have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
