What You’ll Do
The Sulferox Supervisor is responsible for gathering an in-depth understanding of the Sulferox Operations while maintaining oversight of the process and people assigned to them. This person is responsible for scheduling and executing the two planned shutdowns for both the gas and liquid areas throughout the year. The Sulferox Supervisor will report into the Operations Manager with a dotted line to the Plant Manager.
Establish a firm grasp on process flow, raw materials requirement and ordering as well as environmental monitoring according to the plant’s Title V operating permit
Lead safety training for Sulferox area and be familiar with all applicable OSHA laws
Maintain all environmental obligations applicable to air and water permits with assistance of EHS manager
Liaise with vendors on raw material supply and contract renewals
Participate in waste reduction initiatives across the plant
Develop a clear understanding and use of the ERP system for work order creations, PO creations, etc.
What You’ll Need
To be successful in this position, you must:
Have 5 years of supervisory experience in a process environment
Have the willingness to develop further technical and management aptitude to take on higher management levels in the long term
Posses basic lab skills with the ability to learn site required lab functions and tests
Have strong data management/manipulation skills
