Special Education - Secondary Math / Science

POSITION: Special Education Math or Science Teacher

High School

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must possess the appropriate New York State Certification Students W/Disabilities 7-12 or equivalent. Preferred Dual certification in math 7-12 or science. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of and ability to implement instruction aligned with NYS standards in both general education and special class settings; knowledge of and ability to implement strategies to address the needs of diverse learners; knowledge of and ability to implement effective positive classroom management strategies; knowledge of or experience with data analysis and assessment.

SALARY: Salary will be determined in accordance with the WTA contract based on the individual's prior training, level of experience, and demonstrated abilities.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 4-year Probationary

EFFECTIVE DATE: on or about 9/2/25

REPORTS TO: Building Principal
