The Electrical Engineer will work closely with the mechanical engineering team and manufacturing floor to provide expertise, support and guidance as it pertains to wiring up our electron beam machines. The engineer will work to develop our schematic and run lists and standardize this for future machine offerings. They will also support manufacturing work instruction development to support the wiring and assembly process. Travel is not expected or required, but should the situation present itself and this person’s expertise is helpful, world travel to customer locations is certainly offered.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

• Electrical Controls
• Optimize and improve electrical parts as needed
• Implement a robust schematic and run list setup in AutoCAD Electrical
• Collaborate with OptoDisplay programming third party consultant to improve machine controls and diagnostics
• Support electrical diagram SOPs and work instructions for manufacturing
• Evaluate existing controls and electrical wiring processes for improved performance and redundancy.
• Confirm that all engineering documentation submitted to manufacturing is as complete as possible
• Migrating files into Autodesk Vault system
• Identifying new and improved methods for the electronics associated with our equipment, as well as PLCs to firm up our offering
