Job Description
The Associate VP, Experiential Production is an integral position on Wasserman’s Experiential Team responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of various aspects of agency projects, from brief to execution. This role will ensure that all project relevant resources including operations and logistics are allocated and delivered on-time, on-budget and of a quality expected by Wasserman and its clients.
Additionally, the Associate VP, Experiential Production will contribute to the department operations, processes, budgeting (for live projects and pitches), agency quality control, project resourcing, third-party supplier management as well as continually mentoring and developing the Production team members.

Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role

Job Description

General
- Works with department leadership in the day-to-day management and resourcing of the experiential production team
- Responsible for overseeing and managing various large-scale project teams for live events from planning through execution
- Develops new business opportunities by leading response to RFPs, working with existing clients to add new projects to the agreed upon scope of work, and helping cross sell services across other areas of the agency to drive growth
- Work in a collaborative manner with all Wasserman account teams to ensure flawless project delivery against the client’s objectives and budget
- Manage vendor relationships with audio, lighting, staging, fabrication, graphics, digital technology, venues, labor, and other project executional vendor partnerships as necessary to ensure that all agency suppliers meet Wasserman standards of sustainability, ethical purchasing, diversity, quality control and pricing structure
- Manages account teams, ensuring our work is delivered with excellence, providing mentorship and feedback for improvement, and grows team members to take leadership roles throughout the organization.
- Develop, manage and reconcile project budgets from small to large, responsible for ensuring that projects are correctly managed and meet expected financial targets
- Develops senior-level relationships with clients, partners, third party affiliations and industry leaders
- Works with senior leadership team on account business plans, including client assessment, growth and risk identification, team staffing and ongoing responsibilities
- Creates a positive, collaborative, teamwork environment based on the company culture and values
- Drives account management and activation planning through senior level relationships and correspondence with clients, other agency leadership, and provides leadership of scope of work, staffing needs and project management
- Thinks daily about business development and new revenue opportunities with existing clients and potential clients
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- 12 years relevant / increasing operations experience (preferably with an experiential agency)
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the experiential landscape and proven ability to develop and deliver complex projects from the ground up
- Confidence to present and communicate with senior clients as well as the ability to independently craft complex, nuanced written communications for internal and external outreach
- Strong presentation skills with proven ability to sell ideas
- Capable of navigating tough issues and influencing those involved toward a desired outcome
- Ability to foresee issues developing before they arise and develop a solution as needed
- Must be comfortable working as an integral part of a team environment
- Continuously demonstrates solution-oriented mentality
- Lead and inspire other team members, generate positive morale
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized

Salary : $160,000 - $175,000
