Provide expert guidance on plant care, landscape design, inventory, and company policies, reflecting the knowledge and reputation Wasson Nursery is known for. Address customer inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. Ensure a clean, welcoming environment that enhances the customer shopping experience. Uphold Wasson's high standards of plant quality through diligent care and maintenance of plants.
- Answer customer questions about plants, landscape design, plant issues and remedies, plant care, and inventory
- Be able to effectively explain the Wasson Nursery policies as they are written to customers
- Assist customers in locating and suggesting nursery products to fit their needs
- Maintain retail nursery space by removing garbage, picking up and lining up plants, realigning and placing bench cards with correct plants, sweeping and squeegeeing retail areas
- Daily care for plant material (water, fertilize, scout for pests/diseases, removal of poor quality plants)
- Maintain and grow plant knowledge throughout the season (plant care, pests/diseases and remedies, landscape design)
